5 MISTAKES FIRST TIME
AUTHORS MAKE

1.THEY DON'T RESEARCH
Research is mandatory when publishing your book for the first time. Some small details you leave out or skip around my cost you your book sales and longevity of your book. Google, ask questions, be mindful of whats important pertaining to the quality of your book, your story and your content.

2. THEY THINK THEY'LL BECOME OVERNIGHT MILLIONAIRES ONCE THEIR BOOK IS   PUBLISHED.
This is the most foolish thing ever. First of all, before you publish know the purpose in publishing your book. What's your why? Yes, you can absolutely have a best seller if you do the work. Mistakenly most first timers assume that their book will automatically blow up, with no marketing, no work put in the design and editing, this will not aid in helping you become a best seller.

3.SPENDING MONEY IN THE WRONG AREAS
The majority of your money should go towards the production of your book and marketing your book. If no ones knows you or about your book how will you sell it. After you sell to your close friends and family who are you selling to? Make a firm decision to invest in your book since it is a legacy of wealth that it produces. Think about it.

4.DESIGN THEIR BOOK COVERS WRONG
Wack book covers is one thing I cringe over. Know this your book cover is the first thing a reader will see when they pick up your book or if they are scrolling on Amazon. If your cover or title catches their attention you may have a potential buyer. But if your put no work or quality into the design of your cover you can simply forget it. Time after time I see authors with cheap blurry low resolution images and the bad use of fonts that destroy the book cover totally.

5.NOT KNOWING THE PURPOSE OF YOUR BOOK 
Like I mentioned above you must know your why. Why do you want to publish your book in the first place. There must be a purpose in you publishing. Think real hard before you publish and spend money. No one has money to waste.
